Not everyone can conform to the pre-set standard recipes when it comes to pasta. Not everyone can pick and choose between white sauce pasta and red sauce pasta. It’s not easy, man! Sometimes you want the creaminess of white sauce pasta mixed with the tang and spice of red sauce pasta. So, what do we do then? Simple, mix the two sauces together and you have – mixed sauce pasta or what some people have started calling it, pink sauce pasta!
And trust us when we say this, it’s a lovely combination and a dish that is tasty beyond words! We’re sure that many of you might have tried mixed sauce pasta at some or the other joint, but it’s super easy to make at home and the result is marvellous. So what are we waiting for? With a few simple ingredients, your yummy mixed sauce pasta will be ready in just 15 minutes!
What you'll need:
- ChefBoss Pasta & Pizza Sauce
- ChefBoss Creamy Pasta Sauce
- 200 grams boiled pasta of your choice
- ½ cup chopped veggies like onions, mushrooms and bell peppers (optional)
- Grated cheese of your choice, oregano & chilli flakes to garnish (optional)
2 Easy Steps Recipe
In a non-stick pan, add 75-80 grams each of ChefBoss Creamy Pasta Sauce and Pizza & Pasta Sauce and add 50 ml of water to it. Pro Tip: To give your pasta an even better flavour, you can add the water you used to boil the pasta in and then strained. P.S. If you want to add veggies to your pasta, then you just have to sauté the veggies in 1 tablespoon of oil for 3-4 minutes before adding the sauces to the pan.
Add the boiled and strained pasta to the pan & toss over low flame for 2-3 minutes till pasta becomes evenly coated with the sauce. Garnish with grated cheese, oregano and chilli flakes. Serve hot!
